Karl Benjamin and The Birth of The Cool

I managed to make it to the last Free Sunday opportunity to see “The Birth of The Cool” at the Oakland Museum of California, before the exhibition closes on the 17th of August, 2008. Karl Benjamin’s smart and joyful canvasses stood out. I am not sure if it had anything to do with that I was dressed in my favorite shades of red, and blue, which matched my favorite paintings by him, but here they are.
