I am dreaming of Charley Harper again. Honestly, I didn’t know of him till I started looking for monkey and racoon illustrations for a couple of pieces I am working on. Nothing I say will do justice to his art – the bright palette, simplicity of line, and especially, the freshness inspires me to return to nature and innocence – traits that I struggle to find in the grown-up world
The Shadow Dancers (below) is my absolute favorite.
