So… how did i get into this? While retouching a hand drawn image in Photoshop a few days ago .. i realized that it is REALLY time for me to upgrade from “drawing” with a mouse. My hand was REALLY sore from erasing… touching up.. erasing… touching up… erasing.. touching up… anyone who has ever used a mouse to touch up drawings in photoshop will know what I am talking about… A friend loaned me her Bamboo Fun tablet, just so i could try it out – I, realized then, that my “natural angle” is about 10-12 degrees up from horizontal… and when i “drew”, parts of the line would not register. Drawing with the stylus as upright as it needs to be is taking some getting used to. This AM, my husband asked me to try his Jot Pro stylus, (which, I had no idea he had) on his iPad…. using the free version of Paper by 53. So here they are.. my first and second drawings using the app – while i have a lot of trouble holding the stylus upright… i gotta admit its super fun to try something new!
I down loaded ‘Drawing Desk’ yesterday and started to play on my iPhone. I don’t have a stylus and I found it difficult using my finger.

I am new to this, too – as stated in my post… I find holding the stylus upright really hard – I have to look into what stylus wd mimic a pen/pencil the best… Just keep playing around… Sometimes it may just be a question of forming a new habit
